OSTRAL obtains EVE certification - Voluntary Commitments for the Environment

At OSTRAL, our commitment to responsible transportation and optimized logistics is an integral part of our business. For several years, we have been implementing concrete actions to limit our energy impact and promote a sustainable environmental transition in France. This is why we have taken a new step forward by obtaining the EVE (Voluntary Commitments for the Environment) certification, which recognizes our efforts and strengthens our position as a major player in the sector.

This certification is part of a comprehensive approach that leads us to strengthen our collaborations with our partners and to structure our commitments around two strategic areas:

1️⃣  Optimizing transportation purchasing and supporting our subcontractors in their energy transition.

2️⃣  Raising awareness among our customers and continuously improving our logistics collaboration.

Joining the EVE program means joining a collaborative and proactive dynamic. This initiative provides us with concrete tools, allowing us to structure our commitments and accelerate our environmental transition.

1️⃣ Transport Purchasing – Supporting our Carriers

Our primary objective is to increase the flow of chartered and certified carriers by facilitating the transition to greener practices:

➡  Objective: Transfer 20% of the flow to subcontractors committed to the Objective CO2 charter.

✅  Development of a list of committed carriers

✅  Encouragement of subcontractors to join the environmental initiative.

✅  OSTRAL Transport will directly commit to the Objectif CO2 charter.

Our second objective is to raise awareness and support our subcontractors in the use of new energies.

2️⃣  Customer Collaboration – Raise awareness and engage our partners

We are convinced that collective commitment is the key to building more sustainable transportation. This is why we have structured a customer action plan, aimed at better integrating our partners into our approach.

• Inform and raise awareness among our customers
• Promote our actions and those of our partners
• Optimize delivery appointment scheduling

A concrete impact:

✔  Reduction of unnecessary journeys, thus optimizing our carbon footprint.

✔  Streamlining of logistics flows, ensuring a more efficient supply chain.

Obtaining EVE certification is not an end in itself, but a key step in our environmental approach. We are pursuing our actions with ambitious objectives:
